The second stage of the reconstruction of KCM AD Plovdiv warehouse for lead raw materials was started

The second stage of the project “Reconstruction of the warehouse for lead raw materials” at project was started at KCM AD Plovdiv. The project covers the reconstruction of an existing open warehouse in order to achieve dust control and modernization. Contemporary systems for controlling the release of dust into the environment are provided. The project is part of the ambitious program of KCM AD for technological upgrade and environmentally friendly production. Ircon Ltd. is the Lead Designer for all disciplines, conceptual developer and performs QA / QC.

The Customer’s requirement for continuity of the storing works during the construction is taken into consideration. In this regard, the project envisages the overall concept to be realized in 4 stages, which can be performed independently of each other. In 2015 the first stage was successfully completed – the rehabilitation of the reinforced concrete structure of Block 4 and it covering with a sheet metal covering. As a continuation of the Stage 1, the Stage 2 continues with the construction works in building Block 3. We wish successful completion of Stage 2 and a recent realization of the overall project scope.
