Ten years since the erection of the steel roof on the Arena Armeets Sport Hall

IRCON Ltd. hosted an afternoon cocktail party to mark the tenth anniversary of the erection of the steel roof of Arena Armeets sport hall. The event was attended by representatives of the companies involved in the construction and installation of the steel structure like- Glavbolgarstroy AD, Horizont-Ivanov Ltd., MK Yana Ltd., Herkal Ltd., as well as industry representatives from the Bulgarian Association for Metal Structures (BAMK), MSK AD, Metalstroy AD, IG Stahl Ltd., HMC and others. Among us were our media partners from EL MEDIA and STROYINFO, as well as 5th year students of structural engineering at UACEG. The meeting was in a pleasant, informal atmosphere, where we all remembered the parameters of this unique structure, as well as interesting events and curious moments from the time of the iconic construction.

We are proud that Ircon Ltd., as a designer in all engineering parts, has made a significant contribution to the creation of the country’s largest sports hall, which has changed the cultural and sports poster of Sofia. We are especially happy to have hosted a meeting between the generations and the people who are the backbone of the steel construction industry.
